New Canadian Static Record!

On Sept 26th, 2002 at the Dover Recreation Association pool in Ottawa,ON Perry Gladstone of Freedive Toronto, successfully completed an attempt on the current Canadian National Static Apnea record. He achieved a time of 6:01 successfully within the Canadian Association of Freediving and Apnea (CAFA) "Regulation For The Recognition Of Canadian Records" guidelines.

The attempt was verified by CAFA National Judge Kirk Krack, along with CAFA Regional Judge In Learning Pat Shannon of Ottawa Freedivers and is in the process of final ratification by the CAFA Judges Committee.
