New Freediving Excursions Off Malta Announced

One Breath Freediving and Malta a Vela (Malta by Sail) have announced they will be conducting freediving and sailing liveaboard excursions across the Maltese Islands, beginning this coming Spring.

These trips, departing from Malta, will cover the highlights of all three islands of Malta, Gozo & Comino, visiting the best dive sites and experiencing clear blue water for freediving and tranquil bays to relax in.

2017 saw the start of their popular freediving day trips to Comino. Beginning this year, they will also be conducting exclusive AIDA freediving courses (beginner and advanced) as well as freediving training and exploring (for already certified freedivers), from the 41-foot/12.5-meter sailboat Eau d’As.

Liveaboard excursions will last between three to five days with a maximum number of only four persons per liveaboard trip, guaranteeing a truly unique experience of the sea.

David Watson, AIDA Master Freediver Instructor and founder/owner of One Breath Freediving, says:

“This is a very exciting time for freediving in Malta, and a sail boat allows us the perfect way to experience the best diving and locations the islands have to offer. I am very pleased to be working again with Laurent & Rosa of Malta a Vela.”

The first bunch of dates (with more to be announced later) are as follows:

• AIDA2 Course / Sailing Liveaboard (max. 4 persons, €675/~US$839 per person): 23rd – 25th April 2018

• AIDA3 Course / Sailing Liveaboard (max. 4 persons, €880/~$1094pp): 7th – 10th May 2018
