New Freediving Motion Picture in development….

“Based upon the success of motion pictures Le Grand Bleu and OceanMen, All Media Management has decided to produce OceanWomen. OceanWomen is the story of female freedivers training and getting ready to break records previously set by men. The movie will follow these athletes from the moment they fell in love with the Ocean until the day they became World Champions. For the first time, the movie will show Pipin Ferreras’ accident in Grand Cayman in 1997, which put him in a coma for 6 days. The culmination of the movie will be the performance of three records in three different categories, where these women will surpass male limits.

OceanWomen will be filmed on location in Dominican Republic, Galapagos, Mexico, Curacao, Cayman Islands, Spain, Italy and United States. It will use the latest technology in movie making, filmed in 24p, Digital, High Definition. Currently, three writers are working on the script and negotiations are on their way to sign the female stars and the director.

The movie will be released in five languages, in theaters around the World.

Deeperblue will be posting more information, including the name of the freedivers who will star the movie and the director. Also, make sure to visit www.oceanwomen.com, the official web site of the movie, which will be up soon. “
