New ‘Name That Fish’ Software Unveiled

-

Jake Easterling, co-founder of Scubotics, has developed “Name That Fish,” a new piece of software that helps divers identify the fish species they took videos of during their dive trips.

In a recent LinkedIn post, Easterling said he built the database himself, and it currently has about 11,000 unique fish labels on it.

All one has to do is go to namethatfish.com and upload your footage.

Since the software is still in beta, you’ll be able to “set any price you think best,” according to the website.
