NMSF To Discuss Collaborative Conservation

-

The National Marine Sanctuaries Foundation will hold an online discussion next month about collaborative conservation at existing and proposed national marine sanctuaries.

The “Blue Beacon Series” chat will take place September 21st, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. on Facebook Live as well as the NMSF website.

According to the foundation:

“Environmental decision-making processes at the national and global level have often failed to incorporate indigenous voices. During this Blue Beacon event, indigenous leaders will share stories of how the knowledge and wisdom of their communities strengthens collaborative management of culturally and ecologically significant marine and coastal sites.”

You can RSVP for the event here.
