Dave Moran, editor of the "Dive New Zealand" magazine has told various media outlets that the US FBI was collecting details of all scuba students from PADI for the last three years. He went on to say "They seem to be very worried that some underwater attack on bridges or oil rigs and the FBI is looking at this sort of Terrorism and an underwater thtreat"
This is coming to light following NZ Police investigations into three men who enrolled in a commercial course that included the use of explosives.
