PADI Launches New Introductory Divemaster Program


PADI has announced the launch of its new free “Introduction to Divemaster” program.

The program is designed to generate leads and give interested students a taste of the Divemaster program. It aims to encourage and drive students to enroll in the full Divemaster program.

The announcement of the new program comes hand-in-hand with the release of a new, digital Divemaster Crew-Pak along with updates to the PADI Divemaster eLearning program.

Commenting on the new program, PADI Worldwide Chief Brand and Membership Officer Kristin Valette stated:

“We are seeing the demand for PADI Professionals rapidly grow as pockets around the globe re-open. In addition to supporting industry recovery where diving is now available and helping PADI Professionals get back to work as quickly as possible, we are also focused on nurturing the next generation of Pros to ensure continued support of the global PADI network of dive centers and resorts. Through PADI’s unparalleled media reach, the organization will promote the free Introduction to Divemaster program to generate interest and drive candidates to PADI Members.”

  1. Wondering if anyone is having any trouble with the PADI online member profile/dashboard? I’m trying to sign up for this elearning course but am unable to. Have sent inquiries to PADI but no response yet.
