Ra Divers Announces New Dive Boat

Ra Divers which is based at the Volivoli Beach Resort, Fiji, has announced the latest addition to its dive boat fleet.

The new boat, named the Volivoli Cat, is a hydrofoil catamaran design. The new design will offer increased dive deck space, along with enhanced stability, both while travelling and when moored up at dive sites.

The new 10.9m/35ft vessel will be able to cater to 18 divers plus a crew of 6. The boat will be equipped with twin 300 Suzuki engines, and should be able to smoothly glide between dive sites in Fiji.

Ra Divers, which is owned by the Darling Brothers, is the only dive operator in Fiji that offers both land-based and liveaboard operations, as they are co-owners of the liveaboard the Fiji Siren. The new vessel is expected to be delivered in December 2017.
