If you’re a coral reef junkie and like doing “citizen science,” the 2016 dates for a big, annual festival on that specific topic held in Key Largo, Florida have been announced.
The Reef Environmental Education Foundation’s REEF Fest 2016 will take place from September 29 through October 2, the organization announced recently.
During the event, you’ll be able to attend seminars and social events as well as explore the marine environment via diving, snorkeling, or on a kayak or paddle board.
While the seminars are free, you’ll want to pre-register at www.REEF.org/REEFfest/registration. For more information about the event, check out the REEF website at www.reef.org/REEFFest.
