Emperor Divers is offering you the chance to sail with living diving legend Peter Hughes in Indonesia.
The event will take place aboard the liveaboard Emperor Harmoni in October 2023 when it sails from Maumere to Ambon, exploring the Banda Sea.
During the 12-night trip, you will get to meet Hughes, who will be sharing some of his extensive knowledge of over 65 years of diving, which saw him become one of the world’s pioneers of liveaboard diving.
The Banda Sea is an area Hughes has yet to explore, making this trip even more unique, according to the man himself:
“This is an area of Indonesia I have not experienced before so I am anxious to see everything it has to offer. I am confident I will not be disappointed. My experience diving Indonesia has always been Komodo National Park with one trip only to Raja Ampat. I preferred Komodo for some reason but my knowledge of the geography of the Indonesian archipelago is limited at best – even though my wife and I took a cruise there over 21 days in 1983 which was one of the best experiences of our lives. I have not been diving for a while now and I am keen to get back underwater. And what better place than somewhere as special as Indonesia.”
The Alor and Banda trip is set to take place from October 8th through 20th, 2023.
