SeaLife Releases New iPhone App For Micro HD+ and 2.0 Cameras

Traveling light on a dive trip and don’t want to have to bring a laptop or an SD card reader to view the pictures you took? Looks like the folks at SeaLife have a solution.

The company recently released a new iPhone app for its Micro HD+ and Micro 2.0 underwater cameras.

With the new app, pictures and video of the dive can be wirelessly downloaded via WiFi to an iPhone or iPad and viewed on those devices. Once on the device, the photos can be shared to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Dropbox or even via regular old email.

For those above-water wildlife shutterbugs, the app will allow the camera to be remotely operated within a 225-foot/69-meter distance.

The app itself is free and and is compatible with iPads, iPhones, and iPod Touches running on iOS 6.0 or later.

To download the app, go to the following address on the iTunes store: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/sealife-micro-cam/id1061539633?mt=8.

Have an Android phone? No worries, that version will soon be available in the Google Play Store, according to SeaLife.
