It’s a common dilemma-a single diver wants to go diving, but doesn’t have the resources to pay for excessive single supplements. SingleDivers.com provides a creative solution offering single divers (and even married ones without buddies) the opportunity to join others on exciting dive trips to all of the popular scuba diving destinations.
According to Company Founder and President Kamala Shadduck, SingleDivers.com is gaining a strong and loyal following after being in business for just a short time. "We’ve hit on something that divers have long asked for – an opportunity to be part of a community of fun loving divers who happen to be single. Several hundred divers have already signed up and we’ve sold out our first two trips. But this is just the beginning."
Shadduck said the group’s first trip to Cozumel earlier this year was a huge success with more than 25 participants from all over the US and Canada. The second trip, to Bonaire for the Bonaire Dive Festival in June, has also sold out. Future destinations include Honduras, a return to Cozumel, the South Pacific, San Andreas, Grenada, adventure destinations such as North Carolina Shark and Wreck diving and other well-known diver hotspots.
SingleDivers.com will be working closely with many members of the recreational scuba diving community. A retailer program, which enables qualified scuba retailers throughout the United States to work with the trained staff of SingleDivers.com to offer quality travel for singles, is just one of the innovative concepts being explored.
Executives of SingleDivers.com will also be seeking opportunities with dive resorts to schedule trips for 2005/2006 and beyond. An impressive array of sponsoring companies and programs are also being developed.
