Stuart Cove, Erickson Foundation Team Up To Train New Instructors

The Erickson Foundation has announced that after teaming up with Stuart Cove’s Dive Bahamas, five new dive instructors have qualified after completing a PADI Instructor Development Course.

The foundation provides funding for candidates to successfully complete their IDC. Historically, Stuart Cove has absorbed the cost of putting a candidate through the program, so teaming up with the Erickson Foundation is a great help to making the dreams of some instructor candidates come true.

The foundation does not give out direct grants to instructor candidates, but instead approves a program, and then selects candidates on a case-by-case basis.

The foundation will be running to programs in 2019, with the first in June in the Bahamas, and the second in October in St. Vincent.
