Study Predicts Large Expansion in Worldwide Dive Venues

Arizona – A research study headed up by climatologist Jonathan Overpeck of the University of Arizona and recently published in the journal Science has exciting implications for the world’s divers. According to they study’s findings, a vast number and variety of new diving venues will open up by the end of the 20th Century. While Overpeck, in an interview with the Reuters news agency, urged caution in interpreting the study’s findings and forecasts, he asserted that the modelling used by the investigators had firm grounding in historical data.

If the study’s forecasts pan out, the growth opportunities for the commercial and recreational aquatics industries would be unprecedented.
