Take Your Photos to the Next Level With Vivid-Pix Land & Sea

Last year, DeeperBlue.com brought you coverage of Vivid-Pix, a user-friendly editing program specifically geared toward underwater photography.  The layout is polished and slick, fitting in seamlessly with the format and intuitive functionality of popular apps you already use.

This year, the Land & Sea program is both new and improved — engineered to help consumers make the most of the trillion photos that will be taken this year alone.

The main improvement is the addition of a “land” algorithm, which enables intrepid photographers to edit their topside shots with the same easy-to-use toggles as the original version, eliminating the need to switch to a different program. They also added a new crop feature with sizing options geared to match the formats of popular social media platforms where we are already uploading nearly two billion photos a day worldwide.  The square size is ideal for Instagram, and the free-form lets you choose your own dimensions for the final picture. There are also standard sizes like 4″x6″ and 8″x10″, which leads us to what’s brand-new at Vivid-Pix.

Of those trillion shots that will be taken this year, few ever make it to print, and according to Vivid-Pix consumers, some of that is due to the fact that the photos they receive back from their printing centers bear little resemblance to the images they’re capturing at depth.  In order to address this problem, company founder and CEO Rick Voight worked with technicians in the lab, printing hundreds upon hundreds of underwater photos to fine-tune the process.  The result is high-quality prints developed by technicians who are uniquely trained to process underwater photos.

If you find yourself short on frames or low on wall space for displaying your images, Vivid-Pix now offers comprehensive print-shop services. Acrylic and metal prints incorporate an extra level of dimensionality that traditional prints just can’t match, adding a sense of depth that mimics the feeling of being surrounded by clear blue water. If canvas prints are your thing, you can get them here too, along with a unique (and sustainable) bamboo option.  You even make photo books, stationery (Christmas tree worms make great holiday cards!) and drink-can coozies with the easy-to-use templates at Vivid-Pix-Prints.

Remodeling your bathroom?  Put a new spin on the under-the-sea theme with ceramic tile accents featuring your most beautiful underwater pictures, edited and printed entirely within the Vivid-Pix platform.  The competitive pricing is nice, but having your images processed by people who specialize in underwater photography is priceless.

We couldn’t tempt them into divulging their next big development, but suffice to say that something major is coming down the pipe.  Keep your eyes peeled in January so don’t miss it, but in the meantime get your free 30-day trial and start bringing your photos out of your library and into the light!
