We’re pleased to let people know that the hard working FreeDiver UK crew have finally published the complete results listings. We’re publishing them "as-is" direct from the FreeDiver UK website. Note: There is some evidence to indicate the results have minor errors. We have confidence that the organisers are rectifying this situation so are keeping these links in place.
Congratulations to everyone who competed, from the World Record Holders and competition winners – down to everyone who took the time, effort and money to make their mark on the FreeDiving world, no matter who small.
I’d personally like to say that Howard Jones and all the FreeDiver Monkeys worked extremely hard during the event and put on a tremendous FreeDiving competition. From what i’ve heard from experienced competitors and organisers at the event it was regarded as the best run in FreeDiving history.
Behind the scenes we saw a lot of frantic activity and understandably not everything always went completely smoothly and tempers sometimes frayed, but rarely in public. However, as has been stated by the FreeDiver crew, this is a learning experience for everyone involved.
I sincerely hope Howard and the FreeDiver UK crew host another event and that it is bigger and better than this year’s success.
