The Great Northern Freediving Comp 2013

Last weekend freedivers from all across the continent descended upon Liverpool to compete at the UK Nationals Pool Freediving Championships known as the Great Northern.

Organized by Steve Millard and the Apneists UK, the international event saw some tremendous performances. Polish freediver Mateusz Malina had a good showing with a big swim in DYN of 201 meters for the men, and Yulia Maryevich of Latvia with a dive of 151m DYN for the ladies.

Check out a video about the comp here below and congratulations to all of the athletes and organizers on their success.
