Vivid-Pix Launches Photo Contest To Raise Money For Reef Restoration

Vivid-Pix introduces new features at DEMA 2015

Vivid-Pix has launched a photo contest to raise money for restoring a reef in Grand Cayman.

If you buy Vivid-Pix‘s software by April 30, the company will donate 10 percent of the purchase price to the Cayman Magic Reef Recovery project. If you already own the software, submit a photo and the company will donate US$1 per picture (up to five photos max per submitter) to the project.

Entrants can also win prizes like a 30″ x 20″ signed, mounted and professionally-printed photo by renowned underwater shutterbug Marty Snyderman or professionally-printed enlargements of the second- and third-place winners’ photos.

Know of a charitable organization that could use some fundraising? Vivid-Pix might have an answer.

“We created a program so that charitable organizations can receive donations whenever we sell our software,” according to Vivid-Pix Chief Technology Officer Randy Fredlund. “It’s as easy as contacting us and having us create a code that customers input when installing a free trial or purchasing our software. When the customer buys, we send a donation to the organization.”
