Whale Shark Protection Forum underway

Whale Shark experts are currently meeting in Perth, Australia. On the agenda: the increased protection required by one of the world’s largest fish. Already protected in Australian water’s, the Whale Shark is still fished for in Asian countries. The conference is expected to highlight the economic benefits to countries from the tourism potential of the sharks.
