Boca Grande Pass, Florida – A new world record was announced today in Southwest Florida, where sport fishermen pulled in a 750 lb hammerhead shark from the waters of the aptly named Boca Grande Pass. No illusionists were harmed during the capture of this magnificant animal.
The previous record for hammerhead was a paltry 620 lbs. More details here.
