Wreck opens after insurance woes

One hour south of Adelaide in South Australia – the wreck of the HMAS Hobart looks to be finally becoming available to recreational divers who have been excluded since the Hobart was scuttled due to public liabiilty insurance problems, that have become a major problem for all aspects of life in Australia in the last couple of years

The Scuba Divers Federation is hoping that a new system of Permits to dive the destroyer will help, divers will have to book at the Tourist Information Centre and show proof of certification and sign an insurance waiver.
