The 7th International Marine Debris Conference dates have been announced.
The event will be taking place on September 18-23, 2022, and will be held at the Busan Exhibition & Convention Center (BEXCO) in Busan, South Korea.
The conference is organized by a joint effort between the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and South Korea’s Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries. It is being supported by the US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and the Korea Marine Environment Management Corporation.
The conference brings together a host of global stakeholders aiming to build on previous work and help develop strategies, ideas, and collaborations to help combat the scourge of marine debris worldwide.
