Luc Rooman Takes Top Ocean Art Underwater Photo Contest Honors

The winners of the annual Ocean Art Underwater Photo Competition have been announced, with Luc Rooman taking “Best of Show” with his image of a pair of freshwater Pike locked in a ferocious battle.

Organized by the Underwater Photography Guide, the 10th annual competition brought out the best from underwater shutterbugs despite the ongoing challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Ocean Art 2021 judges included prestigious underwater photographers Tony Wu, Mark Strickland and Marty Snyderman.

Over US$35,000 (~€30,678) in prizes have been awarded, making the Ocean Art prize value among the highest in the world.
