Apple TV+ has announced a new documentary to celebrate Earth Day 2021.
The documentary is titled “The Year Earth Changed” and is narrated by the legendary Sir David Attenborough. The documentary will feature never-before-seen footage shot during the COVID-19 pandemic, from whales communicating in new ways and a host of other unusual sightings.
Commenting on his latest work, Attenborough stated:
“During this most difficult year many people have reappraised the value and beauty of the natural world and taken great comfort from it. But the lockdown also created a unique experiment that has thrown light on the impact we have on the natural world. The stories of how wildlife responded have shown that making even small changes to what we do can make a big difference.”
The new documentary will premier in 100 different countries on April 16th, 2021. However, it will not be alone, with season two of “Tiny World,” narrated by Paul Rudd, and the second season of “Earth At Night In Color,” narrated by Tom Hiddleston, also premiering.
