2026 Women Divers Hall of Fame Grant and Scholarships Recipients Announced

The Women Divers Hall of Fame has announced its 2026 Grant and Scholarship Recipients.

The Women Divers Hall of Fame has announced its 2026 Grant and Scholarship Recipients.
According to WDHOF:

“This year we had a record number of applications and we are awarding $90,500 [~€78,029] to 61 individuals who are passionate about our water planet and looking to grow in their knowledge and skills.”

Recipients hail from many US states plus Puerto Rico, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Mexico, England, the Netherlands, Thailand, Indonesia, Kenya, India, Sri Lanka, Brazil and Costa Rica.
The extensive list includes the following:
Captain Wayne Hasson Memorial Fellowship for Climate Change Research:

  • Isabelle Nelson – Texax, USA

Ocean and Human Health Graduate Scholarship:

  • Paige Powell – South Carolina, USA
  • Carter Oleckna – Florida, USA

Laurel Clark Sea to Space Extreme Environment Physiology Research Grant:

  • Sarah Crawford – Louisiana, USA
  • Abel Vargas – California, USA

Max Benjamin Memorial Graduate Marine Conservation Scholarship:

  • Miranda Manross – Florida, USA

Graduate Marine Conservation Scholarship:

  • Lauren Enright – California, USA

Rachel Morrison Memorial Graduate Marine Conservation Scholarship:

  • Isabelle Stapley – Derbyshire, England
