Elon Musk Wants You To Go ‘Scuba Diving On Mars’… Or Does He?

-

Oft described as a visionary, Elon Musk announced on Twitter earlier this month that part of Space X’sMars & Beyond” program aims to find evidence of extra-terrestrial life underwater on the red planet.

“Why are we looking for aliens on the surface of Mars? Space X “Mars & Beyond: Undersea Exploration” program will offer planetary visitors the chance to scuba dive in space.”

The expeditions should take place in the 2030s, although you may want to consider saving up now since they will cost 1 million bitcoins, which won’t leave you much change out of $60 billion in today’s money.

On a final note, before you rush to cash in the kids’ college fund, be aware that Musk made the announcement on April 1st, 2021 and subsequently deleted the tweet. So a hefty dose of space salt may be in order.
