One of the things that can ruin a dive is a torn exposure suit. Whether a wetsuit or dry suit, a bad tear can be a real problem.
At this week’s DEMA Show 2013 in Orlando, McNett is introducing a new addition to their Aquaseal product line for 2014.
Always indispensable in a diver’s repair kit, Aqualseal is now being introduced in Black. The polyurethane compound can be used to repair rips and tears in almost any fabric. Aquaseal will also bind two different fabrics or materials together and a diver can make the repair and get back into the water within minutes. The flexible, black material can also be used to repair booties and gloves as well.
According to McNett Marketing Director Cheriss Faiola, retailers will have the new product in their inventory by mid-February 2014. Faiola said there were no plans to introduce other colors at this time.
