New ‘Crazy For Coral’ Campaign Launched

A new “Crazy For Coral” campaign, which aims to raise funds to plant 10,000 corals by July 31, 2022, has been launched via a a partnership between Virgin Voyages, Reef Renewal USA and Stream2Sea.

The efforts to plant the new corals will focus on the Florida Keys and aim to help revive their ecosystem. As part of their contribution, Stream2Sea will be donating $1 for every tube sold of their coral safe sunscreens purchased at participating retailers or through their website.

According to Virgin Voyages’ Senior Director of Social Impact & Sustainability Jill Stoneberg:

“Virgin Voyages’ brand ethos is to ‘Create An Epic Sea Change For All.’ That means collaborating with like-minded organizations to be a champion for ocean health, starting with the design of our ships down to the sunscreen we offer Sailors in our shops. Stream2Sea shares a similar vision, and we’re thrilled to be a part of such an epic partnership.”

While Autumn Blum, the CEO, Founder and Formulator of Stream2Sea stated:

“Growing up in Florida, I have personally witnessed the devastating decline of our coral reefs. Seeing the human impact on our precious aquatic environment was the genesis for Stream2Sea. With collaborative partners like Virgin Voyages, Reef Renewal USA, and our retail partners here and abroad, we are proving that ‘together, we can make a difference!'”
