PADI has announced that its PRO+ Reward Program will go on for another year for those looking to renew their instructor certifications.
Certifications issued from September 1st, 2026 through August 31st, 2027 will earn PADI “ProPoints” that can be applied toward PADI Professional Membership renewal.
According to PADI Worldwide Chief Brand and Membership Officer Kristin Valette Wirth:
“We know how much PADI Members do every day to train, support, and grow the dive community, and we want to make sure that work is recognized. As our Members renew for 2027, we want them to see the value of the work they have already done reflected back in their membership without adding another task to their busy schedules, which is what PADI PRO+ is designed to do.”
Savings Based On Certification Activity
First launched in May 2026 and building on the Elite Instructor Award program, PADI PRO+ provides membership savings based on certification activity, while continuing to recognize top-performing instructors with Elite Instructor status. More than 25,000 PADI Professionals qualified to receive a discount on their 2027 PADI Membership following the first year of the program.
PADI PRO+ is open globally to eligible PADI Divemasters, Assistant Instructors, PADI Instructors at Open Water Scuba Instructor level and above, Freediver Instructors, Mermaid Instructors, Tec Rec Instructors, Emergency First Response Instructors as well as Public Safety Diver Instructors who are enrolled in PADI Membership automatic renewal.
When PADI Professionals teach courses and certify students, they earn “ProPoints” based on their certification activity and automatically have those points applied as a discount toward their PADI Professional Membership for the following year. Rewards begin after just five certifications.
PADI Instructors who issue 50 or more certifications during the qualifying period qualify for “Elite Instructor” recognition and increased rewards, including up to a free membership renewal. Rewards are applied to the following year’s PADI Membership automatic renewal rates, allowing eligible PADI Professionals to combine their ProPoints savings with the lowest renewal rate available.
PADI Professionals can monitor certification activity and progress using the Student Certification Report and Pro Credential Report on the PADI Pros’ Site. Full program terms, eligibility details, and additional resources are also available on the PADI Pros’ Site, and PADI Regional Teams can provide further support.
The training agency added:
“PADI Members who earned PADI ProPoints through the 2025-2026 PADI PRO+ Reward Program should log in to the PADI Pros’ Site to confirm they are enrolled in automatic membership renewal and can take advantage of their savings on their 2027 PADI Membership.”
