O’Three Announces Winner Of Great Lakes Dive Prize

Drysuit manufacturer O’Three has announced the winner of a prize celebrating the company’s 25th year in business.

Stuart McMickan‘s name was drawn to win what the company calls “an experience of a lifetime diving in and around Chicago USA.”

The prize is worth more than UK£5000 (nearly US$7500).

O’Three teamed up with Great Lakes Expeditions in Chicago, Illinois to to give the winning diver access to more than 3,000 documented shipwrecks in the Great Lakes that straddle the borders of the U.S. and Canada. All of those wrecks rest fully preserved in fresh water, making the Great Lakes region a mecca for Wreck Divers from all over the world.

“This is the biggest prize we have ever given away in our 25-year history. Stuart McMickan will have an amazing time with Great Lakes Expeditions,” Sean Webb, director at O’Three said.

The company has also been giving away one free drysuit a month for 12 months to divers under a nomination process that can be found on the company’s website. Four divers have won that prize so far. Check out the competition website here.
