Professional Scuba Schools Backs Reef-World Environmental Scholarship

-

Professional Scuba Schools (PSS) has announced its support for the Green Fins Initiative by helping The Reef-World Foundation with the creation of the Green Fins Dive Guide e-Course scholarship.

The course is aimed at dive professionals and aims to teach them how to prevent damage to coral through the implementation of environmental standards and improved guest management skills.

The course and scholarship is the result of a donation from equipment manufacturer Paralenz, which will allow 50 dive guides to receive their Green Fins Dive Guide e-Course for free.

Commenting on the effort, PSS President Giuseppe Minopoli stated:

“Since its inception, PSS has been the training support leader to the Green Fins initiative… Protecting our underwater environment is one of the most important roles training agencies can play in the education and development of divers and dive leaders. We applaud the efforts by The Reef-World Foundation and Paralenz for their leadership and commitment to making this training accessible and available.”
