The Reef-World Foundation has announced the launch of its new “Drops In The Ocean” campaign.
The campaign has received a substantial boost with an additional £335,000/~$429,000 /~€396,610 of funding from the Ocean Outdoor Environmental Fund.
The campaign aims to raise awareness about reefs’ important role in keeping our oceans healthy. It also aims to get people involved and proactive in taking steps to protect the oceans and reefs.
According to Chloe Harvey, the executive director of the Reef-World Foundation:
“Every second breath we take comes from the ocean and coral reefs are the rainforests of the sea. They provide a critical habitat for countless marine species, directly impacting the health of our ocean and planet and providing us with vital resources for survival, including the air we breathe.”
While Reef-World Foundation Communications Manager Joyce Yang said:
“We are incredibly grateful for the support from Ocean Outdoor’s Drops in the Ocean fund. This partnership allows us to reach a wider audience across the UK. Together, we can inspire individuals to become champions for our ocean.”
