Stream2Sea used this year’s DEMA Show to spotlight its reef-safe product line and announce expanded distribution for European customers.
The Florida-based brand is now shipping locally from the United Kingdom and Germany, reducing costs and delivery times for divers who previously paid more for shipping than for product.
At the center of the lineup is Coral Care, which the company describes as a “reef-positive” sunscreen. In testing at the University of Derby, the formula was shown not only to avoid harming coral but to support roughly 30% increased coral growth over a 16-week trial.
Coral Care retails for US$26.95/~€23.26.
New at the show is Water Sport Gear Wash, a 100% USDA biobased cleaner designed for wetsuits, BCDs and other soft gear. Stream2Sea says it delivers cleaning power comparable to conventional degreasers while remaining readily biodegradable.
Gear Wash starts at $9.95/~€8.59 for a 2-ounce bottle, with larger 16-ounce and gallon sizes planned.
The company also highlighted its plastic-free shampoo bars, a travel-friendly, TSA-compliant alternative that combines shampoo, conditioner and body wash in one bar, with versions for chlorine and salt removal, color protection and a fragrance-free option. The bars retail for $12.95/~€11.18.
Rounding out the range, the company’s Water Sport Ear Rinse is formulated with a lower alcohol content than typical ear-drying aids and includes glycerin plus oregano and lavender essential oils to help avoid over-drying while keeping ears clear on multi-day dive trips.
The Water Sport Ear Rinse retails for $9.95/~€8.59 and is packaged in bottles made from 100% ocean-bound recycled plastic.
