The AUAS/DAN Diving Medicine Research Scholarship is now taking applications and proposals for funding.
The annual scholarship is a matched funding partnership between the Academy of Underwater Arts and Sciences and Divers Alert Network. The scholarship aims to increase knowledge about human physiology as it relates to the marine environment.
The scholarship provides annual research funding of US$10,000/~€10,044.
According to AUAS President Dan Orr:
“The scholarship was created through a generous initial donation from a NOGI Fellow and with matching funds from DAN, to support important diving medicine research into the future.”
