According to Dive, two of the UK’s biggest and most popular inland dive sites are up for sale.
Gildenburgh Lake in Peterborough and Dosthill Quarry in Staffordshire have both been put on the market by the family-run Dive In Group for £2,950,000.
It seems that the owners are selling up as there is no-one to succeed them.
‘In recent years it has become clear that none of our family were intending to take over from us in our business,’ said Dive In chairman Ian Forster. ‘We have four children, each of whom has chosen a career and made life decisions that appeal to them, and rightly so.’
