Anse Chastanet in St Lucia has announced a couple of upcoming one-week underwater photography training workshops.
The itinerary for each week involves two dives in the morning then lunch. Afterwards, renowned underwater photographer Bernd Rac will lead seminars about editing, reviewing photographs, and preparing for the following day’s dive activities. Each will also feature photo contests, with awards and prizes given at the end of the week.
During the evenings, there will be plenty of activities planned, from cocktail and dinner parties, social gatherings. For non-diving partners, there are plenty of activities to take part in like spa visits and local tours.
The dates for the remaining events of the year are:
- October 5-12, 2019.
- December 7-14, 2019.
Packages for the week start at US$3,169/~£2,614/~€2,856 per person, and divers can use their own camera gear, or have the option of renting a SeaLife DC2000 for the week for $600/~£495/~€541.
According to Anse Chastanet Executive Director of Marketing and Operations Karolin Troubetzkoy:
“There’s no better place for divers to learn more about the art of underwater photography. World-class diving is right off the shores here at our location in St. Lucia. Divers can explore the ecologically rich Soufrière Marine Management Area Marine Park, one of the most protected sites in the Caribbean, with ease. It’s truly an excellent opportunity not to be missed.”
The events are open to all underwater photographers regardless of their level of experience.
