2022 NOGI Gala Tickets Are Still Available

Tickets for this year’s Academy of Underwater Arts & Sciences NOGI gala are still available.

The event is taking place on November 2, 2022, in Orlando, Florida during the annual DEMA Show. The oldest and some of the most prestigious awards in the diving world, this year’s winners include:

  • Science: Dr. John R. Clarke.
  • Environment: Harry Rabin.
  • Arts: Adam Ravetch.
  • Sports and Education: Jack & Sue Drafahl.
  • Distinguished Service: Dr. Albert Jose Jones.

The Gala will also see the introduction of the following two awards:

  • The 2022 Zale Parry Scholarship recipient
  • The Historical Diving Society, Pioneer Award

Commenting on the awards, AUAS President Dan Orr stated:

“The NOGI Award is the oldest and most prestigious award in the recreational diving world, recognizing individuals who have made significant career contributions to the sport, the industry and the world in the Arts, Sciences, Environment, Sports/Education and through Distinguished Service.”
