American Airlines Adds More Flights to Loreto in Baja California Sur

-

American Airlines has added more flights to Loreto in Baja California Sur, Mexico from Phoenix, Arizona for a total of six weekly flights.

American’s non-stop service to Loreto now includes six weekly flights from Phoenix and one weekly flight from Dallas Fort Worth International Airport, making the destination accessible to visitors not only from the US Southwest but through connecting service from anywhere across the United States.

Jesus Ordoñez, general director of Visit Baja Sur, said:

“We are thrilled with American Airlines’ continued confidence in Loreto as a destination. They have been extraordinary partners in increasing access to our unique location and its authentic and sustainable adventure offerings. We look forward to welcoming and delighting more visitors with American’s increased flight frequency.”

These flights join Alaska Airline’s existing connection from Los Angeles, as well as service from Volaris Airlines in Tijuana via San Diego’s Cross Border Express.

The land surrounding Loreto is home to several national parks including the Bay of Loreto National Marine Park, where much of the aquatic wildlife in the area can be found.
