Applications Being Accepted For 2016 Women Divers Hall Of Fame Scholarships, Training Grants

Are you an enthusiastic female diver or know one who is? Interested in dive medicine, marine conservation or pretty much anything having to do with diving?

Well, the 2016 application window for scholarships and training grants awarded by the Women Divers Hall Of Fame is now open.

“Each year, WDHOF awards scholarships and training grants that provide financial and educational support to individuals of all ages, particularly those who are preparing for professional careers that involve diving.”

A veritable plethora of scholarships and grants are available, ranging from a new, US$10,000 dive medicine research scholarship established by the Divers Alert Network to a $1,000 grant to a teenage girl between the ages of 13 and 16 for dive equipment and training.

Completed applications are due online by midnight Eastern U.S. time on November 20, 2015.

For more information or to apply for a scholarship, check out the WDHOF website here.
