Athlete Info Released for AIDA World Championships

Information for athletes planning to compete in the 2021 AIDA World Freediving Championships (September 20th-September 31st) in Cyprus has been released.

Registration and official training will take place on Monday, September 20th and Tuesday, September 21st.

The following Wednesday and Thursday will be competition days for the Constant Weight with Bifins (CWTB) discipline. The Free Immersion (FIM) discipline competition will take place Friday and Saturday (September 24th-25th). Sunday and Monday (September 26th-27th) will be competition days for the Constant Weight No Fins (CNF) discipline, and the Constant Weight with Monofin (CWT) discipline competition will take place Tuesday and Wednesday (September 28th-29th). Thursday September 30th will be a competition back-up day.

The 500-Euro (~US$593) per person registration fee is due by July 31st, 2021, and registrations submitted after August 1st will be 600 Euros (~$712) per person.
