Dive For Free While Installing Artificial Reefs In The Philippines

-

Next March, the Biri Initiative will begin deploying artificial reef buds offshore of Biri in the Philippines.

The Biri Initiative is offering diving at no charge for folks interested in helping with the deployment along with a 20 percent lodging discount at the Biri Resort & Dive Center.

According to Richard Ewen, founder of the Biri Initiative:

Biri offers some spectacular dive sites and fantastic walls for drift diving lovers. All we ask is that whilst there, you assist with either a deployment of reef buds or a Crown of Thorns clean up in return for free diving.

Reef bud production will begin in February, according to Ewen. For more information, check out the initiative’s website and for bookings contact Richard at richard-ewen@biri-initiative.org.
