We’re pleased to announce that two entries to our "Diving the World" competition. We have contacted the winners – Mark and Christian – who have their copies flying in the post to them.
Beth and Shaun Tierney, the authors of Diving the World, would like to thank everyone who entered the competition for sharing their thoughts and dreams about diving. They hard a hard time choosing the winners. Almost everyone named that critter correctly – the Dragon moray eel, Enchelyore Pardalis – but noone picked that it was actually photographed on Christmas Island, the Australian territory in the Indian Ocean. Lots of good suggestions were made for Hawaii and Japan, both locations where, if you are lucky, you can also see these guys, but Christmas Island is the one place where a sighting is almost guaranteed.
The closest answer came from Christian (who mentioned both Christmas and her near neighbour Cocos Keeling) so a copy of "Diving the World" is on it’s way to him. The second copy goes to Mark for supplying the funniest answer.
Many thanks again to all participants.
