Professional Scuba Schools’ Sea Point Dive Centre is offering its clients a chance to dive into history and experience the lives of ancient Romans at a series of archaeological sites off the coast of Baia, Italy.
The site was a popular vacation resort for the Roman aristocracy and featured stunning villas and artifacts.
Diving at the Underwater Archaeological Park of Baia is open to every level of diver since most of the dive is at 5m/15ft.
Commenting on the dives, PSS Instructor Trainer and Owner of Sea Point Dive Center Tiziana Schiano Moriello stated:
“Visitors to Italy normally focus on the splendor of what they can see above the water. But, there are marvels that lie just below the surface that only a few can and have witnessed.
“This is one of the few archeological parks in the world where recreational divers are allowed to visit. However, you can only experience this site through a dive center and guide licensed to explore the area. The underwater marvels of Baia offer an unforgettable glimpse into our Italian past and are a must see for any diver traveling to Italy.”
