FORCE BLUE Announces Creation Of New Team

FORCE BLUE has announced the creation of its second team of six special operations veterans.

The six will undertake their training in Little Cayman, BWI and Key Largo during two weeks in August 2018. The new team will develop an in-depth knowledge of coral conservation and environmental issues, from instructors provided by:

  • NOAA
  • The Coral Restoration Foundation
  • The U.S. Navy’s History and Heritage Command
  • The Ocean Conservancy

In addition to their environmental training, they will also receive training in Force Blue’s PTSD counselling from the Elk Institute’s Dr. Carrie Elk.  The new team is made up of five American and one British special-operations veterans.
