Girls That Scuba Revisit Cabo San Lucas

Girls That Scuba had one of their biggest events on March 2nd, 2019, when over 40 members from across the globe visited Cabo San Lucas, Mexico to celebrate women in the dive industry.

The event was a collaboration between Girls That Scuba founder Sarah Richard and founder and manager of Dive Ninja Expeditions Jay Clue.

This isn’t the first time Girls That Scuba have been to Cabo — they had a similar event last year.

This year’s event-packed day started with a dive at Pelican Rock, followed by a humpback whale-watching tour. After lunch, there were five talks featuring prominent female divers including:

  • Sarah Richard.
  • Regi Domingo founder of Nakawe.
  • Dani Ortiz from Zero Waste Los Cabo.
  • Tania Pelamatti, Natural Geographic Explorer from Pelagios Kakunja.
  • Deni Ramirez director and researcher of Whale Shark México.

The exciting day was wrapped up with a dinner and raffle with prizes including dive gear, diving vouchers an more.
