International Coastal Cleanup Day Date Announced

-

The Ocean Conservancy has announced the date for the 2021 International Coastal Cleanup.

The event, which has been going for more than 35 years, will take place on September 18th, 2021. The project aims to clean up and gather trash from the world’s waterways, beaches, and shores.

Over the years, more than 16 million people have volunteered to clear up the world’s coastal areas. Since the program’s start, volunteers have removed a staggering 340 million lbs/154 million kg of trash.

While you can make a financial donation to support the efforts, you can also donate your time and participate in this event and join the world’s largest volunteer event.
