Nearly Half Of SSI Dealers Saw Certifications Go Up In 2020

Despite a tumultuous 2020, Scuba Schools International has had some good news: Nearly half (48%) of its dealer network in the USA has seen the number of certifications they issue increase year-on-year.

SSI credits the success in a remarkable year to its proactive approach during the pandemic. Activities undertaken by SSI in 2020 include:

  • Adding features to SSI products.
  • Conducting a wide range and increased number of webinars.

SSI Director Jeff Saenger commented on the achievement, stating:

“When reviewing the 2020 year end results, we were pleased to learn that 48% of SSI Training Centers showed an equal or increased number of certifications over 2019! This confirmed to us a number of things. This showed that almost half of SSI’s dealers aggressively attacked the challenges this pandemic threw at them. This also confirmed that our dealers really benefited from the tools and support campaigns SSI provided throughout the year, to the point that many SSI dealers were actually able to increase certifications during one of the most challenging times in the history of our industry.  But most importantly, SSI was there for them providing hands-on support in implementing these tools.”
