"Dive Chronicles’, the recently announced new scuba diving publication, will unveil its first issue in early October. According to Publisher Brad Nolan, "Dive Chronicles" is designed specifically to highlight the fun, adventure and exploratory nature of today’s diver.
"We found that while there are many publications available today, the ‘adventure’ aspect of diving was just plain lacking," the 15-year dive industry veteran explains. "Dive Chronicles is less about sensationalism and shallow product reviews and more about what divers got into diving for-the adventure!"
"Dive Chronicles" Magazine, will be designed in a unique format, similar to "Reader’s Digest" and will also feature an interactive CD-ROM with each issue. Stories will focus on Adventure, Wreck Diving History, Local Dives, and Dive Leaders and Legends.
Combining Print and Interactive Media gives advertisers and readers more than static print. Readers have the opportunity to view video and more, the latest technological dive equipment, interviews, and other great mysteries regarding diving.
"Dive Chronicles" will begin circulation October 1, 2003. An extensive distribution network has already been established including bookstores, dive stores, airports, newsstands and other outlets.
