As part of “Shark Week,” Discovery Plus will air a documentary next week about the shark fin trade directed by horror filmmaker Eli Roth.
“FIN” will air on Discovery Plus on July 13th, 2021, according to Variety.
Roth told Variety:
“‘Fin’ is the scariest film I’ve ever made, and certainly the most dangerous, but I wanted to send a message of hope to end this needless massacre of sharks. They keep our oceans clean to produce half our oxygen, and they deserve our respect and deserve to be saved.”
Actor and environmentalist Leonardo de Caprio is one of the film’s executive producers.
