The next installment of the National Marine Sanctuary Foundation’s Blue Beacon Series will take place on December 15th, 2021.
This event is titled “Ola Kanaloa! (Life to Kanaloa!)”
The roundtable event focuses on Kanaloanuiakea and its population of Humpback whales. During the event, native Hawaiian members of the Hawaiian Islands Humpback Whale National Marine Sanctuary Advisory Council will discuss the interconnectedness and the cultural significance of Kanaloanuiakea.
